چکیده

Researchers have attested that oils of ester are biodegradable and environmentally friendly when compared to petroleum transformer lubrication insulation oils. These benefits inspired us explore the possibility using refined luffa cylindrica seed oil (RLSO) as substitute source for oil. To authenticate its suitability, it is imperative make a comparism electrical physicochemical properties with mineral (TMO) ASTM standard specification. In this work Luffa was extracted giving yield 31.13% undergone having two-step acid-based transesterification process first acid pretreatment Alkaline Transesterification. The produced RLSO TMO were analyzed physiochemical utilizing procedures. measured pH, boiling point, density at 29.5°C, specific gravity 25°C, viscosity 27°C, free fatty acid, value, iodine peroxide saponification others flash cloud pour breakdown voltage relative permittivity dielectric constant 25℃. Most results obtained shows compares relatively well values also meeting specification bio-transformer Hence can be used conventional since met most specifications.

Mature Luffa Leaves (Luffa cylindrica L.) as a Tool for Gene Expression Analysis by Agroinfiltration

We exploited the potential of cucurbits for ectopic gene expression. Agroinfiltration is a simple and commonly used method to obtain transient expression of foreign genes in plants. In contrast to in vitro transformation techniques, agroinfiltration can be used for genetic modification of mature plant tissues. Although the cucurbits are commonly used as model plants for molecular biology and bi...

Pretreating Luffa Sponge (Luffa cylindrica L.) with Concentrated Phosphoric Acid and Subsequent Enzymatic Saccharification

Luffa was evaluated as a potential energy crop. A considerable amount of luffa sponge biomass can be grown in a vertical direction with approximately 70% polysaccharide content and low lignin content. When concentrated H3PO4 was employed to pretreat luffa sponge, hemicelluloses were the most sensitive component, followed by cellulose and lignin. Hemicellulose solubilization and cellulose loss p...
